Accredited training will be provided to support your career.DutiesAssisting the Childcare Worker in the planning and preparation of daily routines and class activities.Helping with the preparation of breaks.Cleaning and tidying the classroom.Shopping in the local shop for the centre.Spending time with the children, individually and as a group.Being involved in the daily activities of the class, with the support and guidance of the childcare worker.Working as part of the childcare team with the childcare worker and manager.Learning about childcare with the help and support of the team through development meetings with the childcare worker.Attending staff meetings and training days when possible.Using policies and procedures in working with the children.Assisting classroom assistants in learning all of the centre's policies and procedures over the first few months of work with the help and support of childcare workers.Covering break times of childcare workers with the guidance and support of the child care manager.Following accident/incident report procedure with the support and guidance of the child care worker.
