You will be in full time third level education where you must take a 1 year placement in industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Department Head this position presents an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the Mechanical Design / Product Development design aspects of Busbar and contribute to product improvements of same.
The main remit of the role will involve working with senior Mechanical Design engineers and the Busbar Product manager in the preparation of detailed mechanical drawings and documentation for Busbar and other support functions for this part of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS Be enrolled in a third level Engineering course with a bias towards Mechanical Engineering An understanding of Engineering Design Principles.
Working knowledge and experience with 3 D modelling and 2 D drafting of product designs.
Experience with MS Office packages: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS Standing for long periods.
