Our client, a well-established Insurance Brokerage is recruiting for a Commercial Account Executive to join their growing team. This is a permanent contract based in Sligo town.
This role will involve interacting with both existing and potential clients, providing quotes, and offering advice on insurance coverage and services. The ideal candidate will be sales-driven, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
Responsibilities
As a Commercial Account Executive, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Providing expert advice on all aspects of commercial insurance.
2. Ensuring clients understand the terms and coverage of their policies in accordance with industry regulations.
3. Negotiating terms and securing business with underwriters.
4. Offering exceptional customer service to all clients, both existing and new.
5. Researching policies from various insurance providers and negotiating with underwriters to find the most suitable and cost-effective coverage.
6. Anticipating clients’ insurance needs, such as renewals or policy amendments.
Requirements
1. 2 years of experience in a commercial lines role, along with a minimum of APA Commercial Qualification.
2. Experience with SME & Commercial Insurance policies.
3. Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including telephone proficiency.
5. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented.
6. Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to the company’s growth.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. Enjoys building relationships with customers and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
9. Takes ownership and responsibility for actions.
10. Detail-oriented with good time management skills.
11. Capable of making real-time decisions and managing workload independently.
12. Proficient in using the Applied/Relay System.
13. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT tools and experience of working on the insurers' online platforms.
