Role Overview
The Supply Planner will be responsible for executing all tactical planning activities, including purchase order management and global inventory oversight.
This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—such as Quality, Logistics, Regulatory, Finance, and Technical Operations—to ensure supply continuity, optimize inventory levels, maintain compliance with industry regulations, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all tactical supply planning activities for assigned products on a global scale.
Manage end-to-end purchase order processes; track supplier performance to ensure timely and compliant deliveries.
Oversee global inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels across all markets.
Collaborate cross-functionally with external suppliers and internal teams including Quality, Logistics, Regulatory, Finance, and Technical Operations to ensure seamless supply continuity.
Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data in SAP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, with a particular focus on New Product Launches (NPL) and End-of-Life (EOL) product management.
Prepare detailed analyses, presentations, and meeting documentation to support the supply chain function in monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
Monitor and analyze key supply chain performance metrics, identify root causes of variances and implement corrective measures.
Support the Supply chain team in efforts to implement enhancements required to adapt to changing business environments and process.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in a supply planning role within the Pharmaceutical industry.
Strong working knowledge of SAP (Required) Experience with IBP is desirable.
Proven ability to manage global supply chains and inventory levels.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
Strong communications skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Must be eligible to work permanently in Ireland without visa restrictions.

Pay Scale
The pay scale for this position is €46,000-€55,000.
