This is a remote position.Is this the next step in your career Find out if you are the right candidate by reading through the complete overview below.Area Sales Manager – Republic of Ireland & Northern IrelandHome Based | Republic of IrelandTCS Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing industrial automation business that supplies solutions into OEMs, system integrators, panel builders, and end users across the UK and Ireland.Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to take ownership of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland territory.The RoleThis is a field-based, commercial role focused on developing new business while strengthening and growing existing customer relationships across the territory.The successful candidate will manage their own sales area, working closely with internal sales, technical teams, and senior management to deliver sustainable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesTake full ownership of the sales budget for the ROI & NI territoryManage and grow relationships with existing customers including:OEMsSystem integratorsPanel buildersDistributorsEnd usersIdentify and develop new business opportunities across the regionExpand product penetration and solution sales within existing accountsWork closely with the Head of Sales, internal sales team, technical managers, and support functions to execute the commercial strategyMaintain accurate records of activity, opportunities, and forecasts using the CRM systemProvide regular sales reporting, forecasting, and expense managementAttend exhibitions, customer meetings, and industry events as requiredContribute ideas and insight to support the continued growth of the businessTake responsibility for personal performance, development, and continuous improvementEnsure full compliance with company policies, quality systems, and health & safety standardsCandidate ProfileEssential:Minimum 3 years' experience in an external field sales roleProven new business development capabilityExperience selling into system integrators, OEM machine builders, panel builders, or distributorsDemonstrable track record of short- and long-term sales successStrong organisation, planning, and time-management skillsComfortable working autonomously in a home-based, territory roleConfident building relationships at multiple levels within xyswxtq customer organisationsStrong IT skills, including CRM and Microsoft OfficeFull driving licence and right to work in the Republic of IrelandDesirable:Experience working for or against a direct competitorElectrical or engineering background (formal or practical)Professional sales training or qualificationsLocation & TravelHome basedIdeally located within central or southern regions of Ireland (e.g.
