Morgan McKinley is partnering with a world-leading technology organisation to recruit a Senior Accountant within their Global Lease Accounting team for their Cork-based Shared Service Centre. This is a high-impact role within a centrally managed global team that supports financial operations across EMEA, US, and APAC.
This role is best suited to a technically strong accounting professional who is open to a contract role.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end lease accounting cycle, ensuring accurate calculation under IFRS 16 and US GAAP.
Ensure data integrity and validation in SAP for the purpose of audit readiness.
Work closely with Global Real Estate and Technical Accounting teams to translate complex accounting issues into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, managing queries and implementing post-audit improvements.
Key Criteria:
ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified.
Strong working knowledge of SAP.
2-3+ years of experience in financial reporting with a strong grasp of IFRS 16 and/or ASC 842.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to research technical issues independently before escalation.
Proven ability to influence and engage with stakeholders across a multi-country, multi-currency environment.
