Main Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance to local Health, Safety and Environmental legislation as well as company policies and requirements.
• Conduct HSE Performance KPI reporting, environmental monitoring and measurement.
• Lead HSE Steering meetings, Safety Committees, and assist in the Claims management process.
• Review of HSE Risk Assessment, Policies and Procedures regularly, and provide support on HSE and continuous improvement Projects.
• Carry out Accident/Incident investigations on site and provide support to other investigations.
• Work with regulatory enforcement agencies, insurance agencies, and occupational health providers.
• Identify requirements and deliver for HSE Training, and deliver HSE training as necessary.
Key Requirements:
A NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or similar is required, along with experience gained in a similar role. A good working knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation, including Risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and Display Screen Equipment is also necessary.
