Opportunity for a Production Operator to join the Injection Moulding team who are responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging medical devices.

JOB TITLE:Production Operator
DEPARTMENT: Injection Moulding
WORKING HOURS: 8-hour Shift work Monday to Friday (rotating day/ evening shift OR fixed Night shift)
CONTRACT: 6Month Fixed term contract
Reporting to the Shift Lead, the Production operator is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging medical devices per work instructions using a variety of assembly equipment, fixtures, and test equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare product for shipment, including cleaning, limited inspecting, sterile and non- sterile packaging, and shipping newly manufactured parts.
Perform detailed inspection on all parts counted, washed, and dried within the facility.
Prioritise work orders with other colleagues to ensure production schedules are maintained.
Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
Complete scrap records, training records, and other documentation as required.
Complete basic production, health, safety, and environmental hazard training courses as required.
Communicate status of work and report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Production Manager.
Other duties as assigned by the Shift Lead.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in Medical device/ Injection Moulding industry is desirable
Strong verbal and written communication skills essential
Strong attention to detail- Must be able to complete required documentation requirements accurately
Able to learn multiple work instructions
Team player, and ability to work on own initiative
