CPL Healthcare is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Worker to join a service supporting Separated Children Seeking International Protection (SCIP) in Piltown, Kilkenny. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people by providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children in care.
2. Support the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children.
3. Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the team and relevant stakeholders.
4. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
5. Promote the rights, wellbeing, and development of children at all times.
Requirements:
6. Full Manual Driving Licence (essential).
7. Eligible to register with CORU.
8. Previous experience in a social care or children's residential setting is desirable but not essential.
9. Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamworking skills.
10. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Salary:
€37, – €41, per year, depending on experience.
