Maintenance Electrician Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading multi-disciplined organization as a Maintenance Electrician. You will be part of a close-knit team reporting to the site Maintenance Manager.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the business's future journey, working within a strong customer base that has experienced continued growth over the last number of years.
Key Responsibilities:
* Integrate into the Maintenance team to deliver support for operations.
* Carry out all work keeping safety, quality, and output to the fore.
* Deliver a reliable centred maintenance function with best practices including preventative maintenance.
* Maintain accurate maintenance data and close out assigned work using the CMMS.
* Install new electrical circuit's containment and take part in commissioning process.
* Repair and replace electrical equipment.
* Responsible for electrical inventory.
* Install maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation equipment and related devices.
* Periodic testing of electrical circuits.
* Participate in onsite lean initiatives.
* Be available for callout in breakdown situations.
Requirements:
* National craft certificate.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Previous experience within a high-volume food manufacturing environment an advantage.
* Experience using a CMMS.
* Knowledge of repair and fault finding.
* Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
* Mechanical knowledge and experience in working with pneumatics and hydraulics.
* Knowledge of PLC controls an advantage.
Working Hours:
A minimum of 39 hours per week over five days. Normal hours of work will generally range between 9:00am to 5:00pm, 8:30am to 4:30pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm rotating Monday to Friday.
