Location: Cherry Orchard, Dublin 10 (Hybrid Working)
Service Area / Portfolio: Dublin South & South West – including Laois, Offaly, Longford, Kildare, West Wicklow, Westmeath
Salary: €60, - €65, (with annual increments) + Expenses & Mileage
Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days office, 2 days on site, 1 day from home
Annual Leave: 30 days + 10 public holidays
Hours: 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday

About the Role
On behalf of Our Client, A major public sector healthcare infrastructure body, we are hiring a qualified and experienced Project Engineer / Project Manager (Technical Services Officer, Senior Assistant level) to manage and deliver capital and minor works projects across the Dublin South and South West region.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-impact public sector team responsible for shaping the built environment of Ireland's healthcare infrastructure – from hospitals and primary care centres to community-based facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the planning, budgeting, and delivery of minor and major capital works.
2. Manage contractors and multidisciplinary teams across multiple healthcare sites.
3. Oversee M&E systems implementation, building services maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
4. Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, safety standards, and statutory building codes.
5. Contribute to property planning, asset lifecycle management, and environmental sustainability goals.
6. Support service delivery in collaboration with Estates and Property Management teams.
What We're Looking For:
A Level 8 degree (or higher) in Engineering, Architecture, or Surveying (accredited by Engineers Ireland, RIAI, SCSI, or equivalent)
5+ years' post-qualification experience in construction, M&E, or facilities management (3 years plus will be considered depending on previous project experience
Experience in managing public-sector or healthcare capital projects preferred
Knowledge of procurement processes, building regulations, and Health & Safety legislation
Strong planning, communication, stakeholder management, and technical reporting skills
Full clean driver's licence and access to own transport
