Application Support Engineer
A leading global financial services organization is seeking a highly motivated Application Support Engineer to join its engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for enterprise-grade cybersecurity
Key Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot complex systems issues in applications built with Java, SQL, and scheduled using Autosys.
2. Handle incident, problem, and change management processes, working closely with DevOps and engineering teams.
3. Create and maintain documentation such as root cause analyses (RCAs), SOPs, and knowledge base articles (KBs).
4. Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and other enterprise-grade monitoring platforms.
What You'll Bring:
5. Strong technology background in application support and systems engineering within a large enterprise environment.
6. Hands-on experience in Java troubleshooting, SQL scripting, and job scheduling via Autosys.
7. Proficiency in enterprise monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace).
8. Strong documentation skills and the ability to independently manage support knowledgebases.
9. Familiarity with ITIL processes and working in DevOps environments.
