Job Description for Warehouse Manager at Lidl
Join our team at Lidl, where our primary goal is to create a fantastic customer journey across all our stores and distribution centers. We operate over 220 stores in Ireland and Northern Ireland, supported by regional distribution centers that operate 24/7 to ensure goods are received, stored, and delivered in excellent condition.
This role is based in our Goods In department, reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager. You will be responsible for managing employees, leading a team of Warehouse Operatives, and ensuring high standards of stock reception and storage across day and night shifts. Your role will have a direct impact on the success of our stores and will offer variety, responsibility, and development opportunities.

What you'll do
* Lead a team of Warehouse Operatives, ensuring proper stock reception and storage
* Create a motivating and performance-oriented work environment
* Demonstrate strong leadership through operational participation and leading by example
* Manage and develop key performance indicators
* Engage with multiple IT systems integral to logistics processes
* Perform quality control checks and manage product rotation
* Coordinate on-the-job training to develop team skills
* Plan team schedules and manage annual leave

What you'll receive
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
* Starting salary of €51,000, rising to €65,000 after 3 years
* Premium of €35 per shift for unsocial hours
* Holiday entitlement starting at 20 days, rising to 25 days after 2 years
