Job Title: Stores/Warehouse Operative
Location: Aurivo Dairy Ingredients Ballaghaderreen Roscommon
Contract: Full time Permanent Contract
Aurivo Coop is a large multipurpose Cooperative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, ecommerce, garden centres, livestock marketing and sports nutrition. Opportunity: An opportunity has arisen for a Stores/Warehouse Operative in Aurivo Dairy Ingredients. The role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and the management of materials flow, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in accordance with production scheduled.
Responsibilities
* Operate fork trucks (counterbalance, reach, aisle master) safely and efficiently.
* Dispatch finished products onto curtain siders and reefers in line with schedules.
* Complete dispatch documentation accurately according to pick lists.
* Ensure all products are dispatched to the required food quality standards.
* Use warehouse management system (WMS) and handheld scanners for receiving and dispatching pallets.
* Complete documentation for incoming raw ingredients, packaging, and consumables.
* Transfer pallets from loading bay into relevant rooms, locations and prepare packaging and ingredients for production usage as per planned production schedules.
* Follow all relevant SOPs.
* Adhere to the company HACCP plan and food safety requirements.
* Work in a safe manner and adhere to all company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Work to agreed schedules with line manager.
* Maintain warehouses in a hygienic clean and safe condition (5S and Lean), completing all records daily.
* Ensure all waste packaging and material is disposed of according to the company\'s recycling policy.
* Manage internal mini bulk ingredients to ensure full traceability, with all documentation completed.
* Prepare all packaging as per production schedules.
* Monitor fork lift trucks mechanical condition and maintain hygiene standards of trucks.
Requirements
* Counterbalance and forklift licence required.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to work with others as part of the team and with external hauliers.
* Patience, flexible and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
