The role involves providing administrative support to school management, staff, students, and parents, while maintaining a welcoming and professional front office environment.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional and efficient manner.Greet and assist visitors, parents, and students, ensuring the reception area reflects the school's ethos.Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Principal and school staff.Maintain and update school databases, records, and filing systems.Assist with preparation and distribution of school communications (letters, newsletters, notices).Support the organisation of school events, meetings, and appointments.Handle deliveries, post, and other logistical office tasks.Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection and child safeguarding requirements at all timesPerson SpecificationEssential:Strong administrative and organisational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general IT systems.Ability to prioritise tasks and work on own initiative.Professional, courteous, and confidential manner.Desirable:Previous experience in a school or educational environment.Familiarity with school management systems (e.g., Compass, VSware, Aladdin).Job Type: Part-timePay: €13.50-€15.00 per hourExpected hours: 9 per weekBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In person
