As part of an aviation company committed to enhancing its cyber security framework, you will lead key initiatives to strengthen our security infrastructure and compliance standards.Key Accountabilities:Lead the documentation of IT and cyber systems throughout the organization.Develop appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with business teams.Implement and test IT procedures and policies to ensure robust security measures.Drive alignment across the IT team in adhering to security and compliance standards.Identify gaps in existing documentation and processes within IT and develop solutions to address them.Collaborate with internal and external teams to improve overall security posture.Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.Conduct regular security assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.Qualifications:Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAttention to detail and thoroughness in documentationAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Proactive approach to identifying and addressing security vulnerabilitiesExperience:Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT security or related fieldBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldStrong written communication skills with the ability to create clear technical documentationDemonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teamsIn-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and best practicesExperience in aviation or regulated industries (preferred)CISSP(Certified Information Systems Security Professional)(preferred)Knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework (preferred)Additional security certifications such as CEH, CISM, or Security (preferred) with security auditing and compliance monitoring experienceWhat we offer:Experienced team24 days annual leave plus service daysAdditional Annual Leave purchase schemeDeath in serviceIllness benefit PolicyFlexible WorkingEnhanced family leave policiesEAPThe ASL Learning AcademyApplications are open until 20 July 2025.
