Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety across all project sites through proactive safety management, on-site inspections, and engaging with site teams to foster a strong safety culture.
* Recognise and assess risks, implementing effective preventative measures.
* Prepare and oversee safety documentation, including risk assessments and safety statements.
* Deliver inductions and ongoing safety training to staff and subcontractors.
* Maintain accurate safety records and support investigations into any incidents or near misses.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess at least 2 years of experience in a construction-based Health and Safety position. A comprehensive knowledge of current health and safety legislation in construction is also required.
* A recognised health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) is essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail are necessary.
* Applicants must be willing and able to travel between multiple project sites in Carlow, Wicklow, and South Dublin.
