Supermarket Operations Manager Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced supermarket operations manager to join our team in Tallaght. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the store, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning across all departments.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a retail supervisory or management role, preferably within the supermarket industry. They should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee the opening and closing of the store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to company procedures
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of department managers and staff, providing guidance and support as needed
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure adequate stock availability
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the store, adhering to health and safety standards
* Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving to always provide excellent customer service
* Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
