Employee Relations Consultant Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to join our team. As an Employee Relations Consultant, you will provide day-to-day support on employee relations issues and manage complex cases for managers and employees.
About the Role:
* Consult with People Business Partners, Managers, and Employees to provide guidance on employee relations models and facilitate issue resolution
* Handle performance, disciplinary, grievance, TUPE, and termination issues for managers while following case escalation and notification guidelines
* Manage sickness cases, including occupational health referrals, review meetings, capability reviews, and required accommodations
* Complete research from available resources to mitigate risk and resolve problems by clarifying issues and exploring answers
Responsibilities:
1. Provide guidance and consultation to teams to ensure consistent application of company policies and compliance with employment law
2. Manage escalated and complex cases, support sickness absence cases, and coach employees and managers
3. Audit responsibility for ISO, WRC review, plan, and process improvement
4. Contribute to policy reviews and formation, manager training on ER learning, trends, and mitigation strategies
5. Workload monitoring and case assignments, providing analytical insights for the region
Requirements:
* Experience in employee relations
* CIPD Level 7 qualified or CIPD Level 5 qualified but willing to study Level 7
* Knowledge of employment law, specifically EMEA legislation in UK & Ireland
Preferred Qualifications:
* BS or BA Degree
* Windows, Excel, Word, PeopleSoft skills
* Consulting experience
