Position Description:
The Senior Manager, Operational Oversight & Outsourcing is responsible for the oversight of various key deliverables including but not limited to Fund Accounting, Investor Servicing, Anti Money Laundering, Outsource Service Providers (OSPs). The senior manager will work closely with Operations, Management, legal and Compliance to manage all aspects of the Outsource Program. The individual will work collaboratively across a number of SEI teams and legal entities globally to ensure Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) guidelines and requirements are adhered to and will escalate if issues or concerns arise. The individual is responsible for maintaining proactive and satisfactory relationships with all OSPs.
What you’ll do:
* Oversight & Outsourcing:
o Together with Senior Management determine oversight and outsource strategy for the relevant operational teams in line with overall company strategy and business plan
o Establish objectives and goals to meet agreed strategy
o Responsible for the effective oversight and governance around outsourcing including coordination of Outsourcing Committee(s) and meeting all regulatory requirements
o Ensure all outsource documentation including Terms of Reference, policies, training, ongoing monitoring, KPIs, register are maintained accurately, timely and to the highest standards
o Present regularly to SEI’s internal board of Directors, in addition to Fund’s Boards.
o Ensure acceptable client service standards are maintained with ultimate goal of complete client referenceabilty
* Process Improvement and Efficiency:
o Ensure innovation to improve efficiencies, enhance client service and maintain satisfactory controls within the various oversight teams
* People Management:
o Manage teams and personnel and maintain a satisfactory level of people management and work environment
o Ensure succession planning process in place and operational within department through identification and development of high potential personnel
o Champion HR policies and ensure all are applied and maintained
o Carry out all duties assigned to your role under the Company’s Safety Statement, to ensure Health, Safety and Well-being for all employees for whom you have responsibility.
What you will bring to the table:
* Significant fund operations background with in-depth knowledge of Financial Service Industry.
* 10+ years’ senior management / management experience.
* General systems integration and life-cycle experience
* Project management experience
* Third Level Qualification
* In depth knowledge of the Microsoft suite of tools
