Job Title: Facilities Maintenance & Engineering Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding logistics business as a Facilities Maintenance & Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the facilities maintenance and engineering operations across 4 cold store distribution centres in Dublin and Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the effective operation, maintenance, and improvement of facilities.
* Manage and deliver CAPEX projects across the portfolio.
* Ensure adherence to compliance/health and safety regulations.
* Manage and lead a team of engineers and facilities staff.
* Develop and implement proactive maintenance schedules.
* Work closely with senior management to develop strategic facilities plans.
* Manage external contractors and suppliers.
* Monitor and manage budgets for the facilities department.
* Implement and manage energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements:
* A degree in Engineering or a related field (desirable).
* Previous experience in a multi-site Facilities Management role within the logistics sector.
* Possess a strong working knowledge of the EU F-Gas Regulation (517/2014), EU Refrigeration Standard EN 378, and Risk Management Programs.
* IOSH/NEBOSH Certification.
* Knowledge of compliance/health and safety regulations.
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A proactive approach to maintenance and improvement.
