Assistant Spa Manager Opportunity at Cashel Palace Hotel
The Cashel Palace Hotel is seeking a skilled and dedicated Assistant Spa Manager to join our team in the esteemed Spa department.
Key Responsibilities
* Front-of-house contact for spa guests and team members, providing information on spa products, treatments & facilities.
* Delivering exceptional 5-star service and exceeding guest expectations.
* Operational and financial control of the Spa & Pool/Gym area, ensuring viability and profitability.
* Maintaining and updating operating systems, including experience with platforms like Hot Soft Spa, Alkimii, and Procure Wizard.
* Managing day-to-day operations, including staff hiring, training, scheduling appointments, and organizing events.
* Coordinating guest journeys through the spa, linking with other hotel departments for seamless experiences.
* Liaising with Sales & Marketing to develop marketing plans and coordinate promotional projects.
* Stock ordering, auditing inventory, and dealing with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate stock management.
* Financial transactions, including budgets, P&L, and daily cash-ups, for the spa.
* Supporting, motivating, and guiding team members, providing feedback and guidance.
* Developing skills in training and onboarding new staff members.
* Consulting with the spa manager on business decisions, such as pricing packages or hiring new employees.
* Scheduling staff effectively to ensure efficient coverage and adequate staffing levels.
* Reviewing customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
* Prior experience in a spa management role.
* Strong therapeutic and treatment skill sets, along with product retail sales experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work efficiently and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
