We are currently recruiting for a Chief Medical Registrar Officer for our hospital client based in Dublin.
Contract: Full-time (39 hours per week) Responsibilities Support the delivery and continuity of patient care, working closely with NCHDs while the Admitting Consultant retains overall responsibility.
Provide senior clinical support and guidance during duty hours.
Deliver education, teaching, and simulation training for NCHDs, students, and other healthcare staff.
Act as a key liaison between NCHDs, consultants, and hospital management, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Oversee the day-to-day coordination and management of the NCHD team.
Ensure smooth admission and discharge processes, maintaining adequate medical cover at all times.
Requirements A primary medical qualification (MBBS, MB BCh, or equivalent) with full General Registration with the Irish Medical Council (essential).
Minimum 5 years' senior post experience in an acute hospital setting (essential) Benefits Funded educational support.
