This newly created role will be accountable for food safety and quality aspects of the new Lactase Enzyme product range and production line currently under construction. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience of overseeing quality within a food or pharma manufacturing environment with a deep understanding of food quality standards, policies, procedures, and systems.Our Safety purpose: At Kerry, we work together in a caring culture where everybody goes home safe every day. Join us in creating a workplace where safety is everyone’s responsibility.Key responsibilitiesResponsible all Food Safety and Quality requirements for Lactase Business, but working with established quality team on siteEnsuring new line is compliant with Kerry Quality Management Systems, FSQ standards, policies and proceduresLead the sites external and internal audit programme (including GSS, FSSC, Customers, Third Party, Authorities, etc) to ensure audits are completed to the required frequency and drive close out of non-conformances.Generating, maintaining, and updating as necessary, of internal quality and food safety/quality site KPI’s and customer reports providing accurate data analysis.Responsible for customer complaint handling, responses, reporting and trendingOverseeing quality of Third-Party ManufacturesBuilding relationships with senior management of the Kerry enzyme business and other Kerry enzyme portfolio sitesWorking with cross functional teams on site in Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement ProjectsEnsure there is a robust traceability procedure in place that is regularly challengedEnsure all FSQ requirements are covered in Change Management ProcessQualifications and skillsSignificant Quality experience gained within Food / Beverage / Pharma manufacturing industry with a good eye for detail.Degree or equivalent in Food science/technology related subject.Lead Auditor Qualification (GFSI) and familiar with various food quality standardsProficient written, numerical and verbal skills, fluency of English.Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key data.SAP experience is beneficial but not essential as training is provided.Excellent communication skills at all levels up and down.Proficient in the use of MS Office tools.Why should you apply?Opportunity for career development and personal development within a Global, multifaceted business.Plenty of opportunity to progress with Kerry within the specialised field and Enzyme portfolio.Industry benchmarked salaryMatched pension scheme to up to 10%.Lise Assurance 6 x salary25 days annual leave, plus relevant bank holidays.Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee benefit platform.Free onsite parkingBeware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent us.
