Package: Neg A long-established Transport company is seeking an experienced and highly organized European Road Freight Forwarder to manage and coordinate full-load (FTL), part-load (LTL), and groupage shipments across Europe. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of international road transport procedures, routing, customs regulations, and carrier management. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate road freight movements across Europe, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Manage end-to-end shipping processes including booking, tracking, documentation, and invoicing. Source and negotiate with hauliers and transport partners to secure optimal rates and service levels. Handle all transport documentation including CMRs, transit documents, and customs declarations as required. Monitor shipments and proactively address any delays, disruptions, or client concerns. Ensure compliance with European transport regulations, customs procedures, and health and safety standards. Liaise with internal departments (customer service, warehouse, finance) to ensure smooth operations. Maintain and develop customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact for logistics queries. Provide regular status updates to clients and escalate issues where necessary. Required Skills & Experience: Min 2+ years experience in European road freight forwarding within a local forwarder. Strong knowledge of international road transport networks, incoterms, and EU transport legislation. Proficient with freight forwarding software and systems (e.g., TMS, ERP platforms). Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Fluent in English Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
