Overview
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our design team, where you’ll learn about Kota, our products and business.
This is a foundational design leadership role where you'll shape how platforms, businesses and their employees experience insurance and benefits through our embedded UIs and more. You'll work closely with our existing designer and help elevate the entire design function through taste, systems thinking, and design leadership.
As our first senior designer, you'll be expected to drive design strategy, create and enhance our design systems for health and life insurers, and ensure our embedded products deliver exceptional experiences across all integration touchpoints.

Qualifications
* A track record in product design delivering compelling customer experiences across the whole product.
* Foundations to mould a design strategy for our products, making decisions that impact how hundreds of thousands access insurance and retirement.
* Ability to think holistically about user experiences to simplify and unify complex experiences into a coherent journey across markets.
* Comfort working at pace and pivoting direction based on company strategies and initiatives.
* Proven experience creating, maintaining, and scaling design systems and reusable patterns.
* A portfolio demonstrating solving customer problems with design systems for complex requirements and delivering creative product ideas.
* Well established sync and async communication and presentation skills to align stakeholders across business, compliance and product teams.
