About the Role
As a Newly Qualified Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for partnering with the wider team on financial analysis and managing the trading P&L and balance sheet for a trading entity.
Responsibilities
Prepare month-end reporting packs for multiple group entities and present findings to management committees.
Support audits and year-end reporting through the preparation of audit schedules, statutory financial statements, and responses to auditor queries.
Maintain accounting systems and ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS 9, and IFRS 13, including fair value accounting, month-end revaluations, and fair value hierarchy classifications.
Manage intercompany accounting, including monthly journals, reconciliations, and management fee recharges.
Drive process improvements and control enhancements by automating reconciliations, improving close processes, and supporting systems projects.
Qualifications
ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified - ESSENTIAL
2+ years' audit/accounting experience preferably in wealth & asset management or financial services
Big 4 or Top 20 practice training background.
Experience with IFRS reporting.
Experience supporting audits and statutory reporting.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
