We are seeking an experienced Risk Advisor to support our clients' growth in the public sector by providing expert advice on managing exposure and strengthening internal controls.
1. This role will involve working with a range of public sector bodies to help them make informed decisions about their key risks, aligning their risk management practices with strategic goals.
2. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing practical tools, guides, and frameworks that embed effective risk and governance practices across organizations.
3. This position requires strong communication and facilitation skills, with experience in running workshops, delivering seminars, and contributing to national forums and working groups.
4. A key aspect of this role will be helping organizations integrate risk management into their day-to-day operations and achieving alignment between risk management strategies and overall objectives.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in governance, risk, and compliance, particularly in regulated or public-facing environments.
* A background in risk advisory, insurance, engineering, information security, health & safety, or similar fields is essential.
* Familiarity with established frameworks such as ISO 31000, COSO, or public sector risk standards is required.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in building and implementing policies, frameworks, and risk registers.
* A confident presenter and facilitator is needed to lead discussions and workshops effectively.
