We have a formidable reputation for quality service and aftercare and a flexible, committed approach is needed.A family run business, expanding country wide, we have an exciting opportunity for a career with a company that invests in its staff.This job role requires an early morning start from the Drogheda area.Role Specific Requirements:You must be an experienced Solar Panel Installer, with at least two years experience, along with relevant certifications.A Full Drivers License is required. Towing machinery experience preferred.Manual Handling and SafePass required.A team leader, experienced in managing a crew, coordinating with other site members and office staff as well as providing professional customer service.Working hours are on average 40 per week. Required to work away (stay) on occasions.A practical approach, with experience of training others is essential.You must be well presented at all times and time keeping is critical to the position.Working as part of a team and helping in any aspect to get a job done.Specifics of the role:You will be working with Tile, Slate, Metal roofs of all kinds and will be completing ground mount arrays, from time to time.Duties will include but are not limited to:Job Planning / SchedulingLoading and unloading materials into a vanInstallation of mounting bracket and railing systemsInstallation of DC cableMoving and the Installation of solar panelsTesting panelsCompleting paperworkRunning cables, trunking, conduit and cable traysKeeping sites clean and tidy during and after a jobEnsuring safety on site for you, your colleagues and our customers at all timesOperating lifts, MEWP and tower or scaffold buildingExperience with ropes, harnesses and other safety equipmentWe have continuous work to offer the correct person, as well as an opportunity to gain valuable experience alongside highly experienced tradespeople.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company pensionExperience:Solar Panel Installation: 2 years (required)Managing Solar Installers: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:Safepass Card (required)Manual Handling Certificate (required)B Driving Licence (required)MEWP Licence (preferred)Abrasive Wheels Certificate (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: On the road
