R&D Technician Role
The R&D Technician will provide technical support to engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop delivery systems for client companies.
* Assemble, test and package complex mechanical devices following written and verbal instructions.
* Work with Engineers to design and develop assembly methods.
* Maintain accurate work records such as engineering notebooks and routers.
* Train assemblers, technicians and engineers in assembly methods.
* Maintain accurate inventory records.
* Assist with in-process testing to assure product meets specification.
Requirements
* Technical Diploma advantageous.
* 1 years experience in the Medical Device industry.
* Balloon Catheter development or manufacturing experience desirable.
