Position: Data Architect

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, implement, and optimise Data Lake solutions for a high-impact utilities sector project. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Azure Data Lake and a background in enterprise asset management integration, such as IBM Maximo.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop scalable Data Lake architectures within the Azure ecosystem.
* Define data management frameworks, ensuring security, governance, and compliance.
* Oversee data modeling, storage optimisation, and performance tuning.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business needs.
* Monitor data infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
* Implement best practices in data governance, ETL pipelines, and cloud data solutions.
Key Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture.
* Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure Data Lake and related technologies.
* Experience in utilities or electricity sector preferred.
* Strong background in data modeling, governance, and storage optimization.
* Familiarity with enterprise asset management systems (Maximo preferred).
* Strong knowledge of cloud-based data security and compliance frameworks.
* Ability to lead data architecture initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders.
