The Lifeboat Inn is currently hiring a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team at The Lifeboat Inn.
You will receive full training and primarily work on the Starters and Desserts section. Our kitchen operates Thursday to Sunday all year round, and weekend availability is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes as directed by senior chefs
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
* Work efficiently on the starters and desserts section during service
* Organise deliveries and store food items correctly
* Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP compliance)
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting
* A team player with a positive attitude
* Familiarity with HACCP principles and kitchen hygiene
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Passion for food and a strong desire to learn
* Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €13.50-€15.00 per hour
