Job Title:
A key role exists in shaping the future of housing in Ireland by driving new development opportunities.
This involves establishing strong relationships with external stakeholders and ensuring that new business opportunities are financially viable.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant third-level qualification in real estate or property management and development/project management experience, along with a strong understanding of the residential housing landscape in Dublin and relevant government policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Source and identify potential development sites in Dublin, ensuring they meet social housing needs and align with company objectives.
* Liaise with architects, engineers, and local authorities to secure planning permission.
* Manage project budgets and secure funding from public and private sources.
* Oversee the design and construction phases of projects, ensuring compliance with social housing standards and sustainability best practices.
* Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, contractors, consultants, local authorities, and residents.
* Promote opportunities for local employment and training during construction.
* Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and delays.
* Prepare comprehensive reports on project progress and performance.
* Contribute to the development of the company's social housing strategy and identify future opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
* A relevant third-level qualification in real estate or property management.
* Development/project management experience.
* A strong understanding of the residential housing landscape in Dublin and relevant government policies.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in relevant project management software.
* A passion for social housing development and a commitment to creating positive social impact.
