Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor the day-to-day performance of systems.
* Troubleshoot performance trends and anticipate, solve or escalate problems as appropriate.
* Perform maintenance and improvement work on all equipment to ensure full operations schedule adherence.
Maintenance Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to the maintenance, operations and project departments on equipment maintenance and reliability matters. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining and improving equipment efficiency.
This Maintenance Engineer will be based in Cork and will work with a pharmaceutical client to provide technical expertise. Key responsibilities include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, performing maintenance tasks, and working collaboratively with other departments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Process Engineering, with experience in reliability and/or maintenance within a process or pharmaceutical cGMP regulated environment. Familiarity with best practices in preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, maintenance planning, reliability engineering, RCM or FMECA is also required.
Additional skills and qualifications include experience with Delta V, PLC, SCADA and SAP systems, and a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Process Engineering. A strong understanding of industry standards and regulations, such as cGMP, is essential for this role.
