The Arlington Hotel is part of the Louis Fitzgerald Group, renowned for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in delivering consistently high-quality food and service across all outlets.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and take full responsibility in their absence.
* Ensure consistent high standards in food preparation, presentation, and service.
* Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to perform at their best.
* Assist with menu development and cost control to meet profitability targets.
* Maintain hygiene and safety standards in line with food safety regulations.
* Monitor stock levels, reduce waste, and ensure efficient use of resources.
* Handle customer feedback and complaints in a professional, solutions-focused manner.
* Ensure compliance with all health & safety, licensing, and company policies.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a Sous Chef or similar senior kitchen role.
* Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
* Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety standards.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* High attention to detail and a passion for food quality and customer satisfaction.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Must be eligible to work in Ireland and based in Ireland.
