Offer description

We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team. This role involves promoting safe working practices and ensuring adherence to company HSE policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Promote safe working practices and ensure adherence to company HSE policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular site HSE inspections and report findings.
* Manage documentation related to Health & Safety and Environmental Systems in compliance with company policies.
* Coordinate pollution control, waste management, recycling, and environmental health initiatives.
* Discuss HSE issues during project review meetings.
* Maintain records to meet audit standards and update the HSE legal register as needed.
* Investigate accidents and incidents, report findings, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
* Oversee compliance with relevant legislation, including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and related regulations.
* Assist with risk assessments, sub-contractor evaluations, and documentation reviews.
* Deliver HSE training and promote incident prevention initiatives.
* S Support incident investigations and stay updated on legislation.
* Communicate HSE values through presentations, toolbox talks, and other communication channels.

Requirements:

* Experience in HSE management within engineering operations of similar scope.
* Knowledge of PSCS duties.
* NEBOSH Diploma or higher in EHS.
* Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, ShareFile, and Teams.
* Experience with Environmental permitting, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or similar systems.
* Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and strong work ethic.
* Membership in IOSH or IEMA is preferred.
