About the Role
The Clinical Nurse Manager I role involves providing safe and effective care to patients, with a focus on service planning, coordination, and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient care, providing clinical leadership, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage patient care to ensure highest professional standards using evidence-based care planning approach
* Provide high-level professional and clinical leadership
* Be responsible for coordination, assessment, planning, delivery, and review of patient care by all staff in designated area
* Participate in team meetings/committees as appropriate, communicating and working in cooperation with other team members
Requirements
* Registered in General Division of Nurses Register kept by NMBI
* Completed management course or committed to undertake same
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience within Medical/Surgical environment
* Previous management experience desirable
* Some experience of change management
