Culinary Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a passionate culinary professional, you will support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including food production, team supervision, quality control, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
2. Lead and motivate kitchen staff during service and in prep
3. Ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes across all areas
4. Help manage stock levels, ordering, and food cost control
5. Assist in creating new menu items and daily specials
6. Enforce food safety, cleanliness, and HACCP compliance
7. Foster a collaborative, respectful, and efficient kitchen culture
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie in a high-quality kitchen
2. Able to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
3. Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen operations
4. Creative approach to menu development and food presentation
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills
6. Flexibility to work across various shifts including weekends
