Receptionist Job Description
The Receptionist plays a vital role in maintaining and developing relationships with internal customers and interfaces with senior management. As the first point of contact, this individual will be responsible for meeting and greeting employees visiting the site, as well as external visitors attending CIC events or visiting site leadership.
* Maintain and develop relationships with internal customers and interface with Senior Management;
* Act as the first line of contact for both internal and external visitors;
* Presentation of self in a courteous and professional manner;
* Directs or performs coordination and preparation of visitors to Customer Innovation Centre;
* Other administrative duties to support site leadership specific requests;
* Support facilities work activities;
* Answering calls from both External and Internal Clients;
* Support Facilities department with administrative duties;
* Assisting with responding to emergencies;
* Lost and Found reporting incidents to security;
Requirements:
* Level 6 qualification with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a busy office environment;
* Proficient in Microsoft Office software in particular Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint;
* Reception or office administration experience is required;
* A dynamic team player who can work effectively and proactively on activities both individually and with others;
* Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities – a good multi-tasker;
* Excellent attention to detail and results-oriented;
* Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate;
* Good initiative and team player;
