Our organization is currently seeking a Senior Acquisitions Specialist to join our team.
Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role will be to oversee the procurement process for materials, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining accurate records. This will involve coordinating with vendors, negotiating prices, and expediting orders as necessary. Additionally, the Senior Acquisitions Specialist will assist in cost estimations for new projects, determine last time buy quantities for parts approaching end of life, and fulfill sample and demo hardware requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Procure materials and negotiate prices with vendors.
* Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
* Maintain accurate records and files for all procurement activities.
* Assist in cost estimations and budgeting for new projects.
* Determine last time buy quantities for parts approaching end of life.
* Fulfill sample and demo hardware requirements.
Requirements
Previous experience in purchasing or acquisitions is required. Strong systems knowledge, preferably Oracle, is essential. Proficiency in computer packages and technical applications is necessary. The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team is also required.
