Restaurant Operations Lead
This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a café/restaurant, managing a dynamic team and driving business growth through exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate staff to deliver high standards of customer service
* Manage café floor operations, including customer service delivery and sales management
* Oversee staffing, rotas, hiring and training
* Drive sales and maintain high standards
* Coordinate catering bookings, menu planning with head chef, and logistics
* Monitor stock levels, supplier relations, and cost controls
* Uphold food hygiene, health & safety, and quality standards
* Respond to customer feedback and handle operational issues professionally
* Understand and manage key business metrics
* Assist in strategic business planning
Requirements:
* Self-motivated leader with passion for delivering exceptional service standards
* Strong communication skills with ability to deal with staff, customers and suppliers
* Proven management experience in café, hospitality or catering management
* Strong leadership, organisational and multitasking skills
* Confidence in working both front-of-house and behind the scenes with administration
* A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving with a 'can-do' attitude
* Knowledge of food handling regulations and catering logistics is desirable
* Passion for food, coffee and awareness of industry trends and innovations
