Job Overview
The Stores Officer plays a vital role in managing stock at point of use by utilizing scanning systems to requisition stock and maintaining strict replenishment schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work in Point of Use as assigned by the Supervisor or Line Manager where you will be tasked with scanning and/or replenishing of stock.
* Work in Goods Inwards as required by your Supervisor or Line Manager where you will be assigned to unloading deliveries and distributing of cages.
* Utilize Barcode scanning system to reserve stock.
* Maintain inventory storage systems.
* Participate in regular Point of Use audits.
* Utilize ICT Procurement Systems (Punch-out and SAP systems) to ensure efficiencies in service delivery.
* Assist Line Manager in performance of duties and carry out other tasks as assigned.
* Implement new systems as directed by Line Manager and cooperate with introduction and use of new technology and practices.
* Extensive use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Ensure deadlines are met and service levels maintained.
Requirements:
* SAP experience.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
