The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an Senior Backend Enginee to join their product engineering organisation and play a key role in the ongoing evolution of a core product platform.
The Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be part of a skilled team of engineers. You will work closely with product managers and software architects to shape technical direction and deliver features from design through to production.
Key Responsibilities
• Own delivery outcomes including quality, timelines, and engineering standards
• Drive technical decision making to support both current needs and long term scalability
• Lead the design and implementation of new components and services
• Support the growth and development of team members through mentoring and coaching
Experience
• 5 plus years experience as a backend engineer or technical leader
• Strong experience with C# and .NET or .NET Core and Azure
• Solid understanding of clean code principles, design patterns, and scalable architecture
• Strong multithreading and object oriented programming experience
• Proven track record delivering production grade software products
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
