SAP FICO Analyst

Role Overview:
The
SAP FICO Analyst
will be responsible for the configuration, support, and ongoing optimization of SAP FICO systems to support evolving business needs. This role plays a key part in ERP transformation, including the move from ECC6 to S/4HANA. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
System Configuration & Support:
* Work with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for finance process improvement within SAP.
* Participate in the planning and execution of the transition from ECC6 to S/4HANA.
* Configure and maintain SAP FICO modules, ensuring alignment with business needs.
* Resolve system issues and support users across departments.
* Maintain data integrity and streamline daily finance operations.
Integration & Collaboration:
* Support system integrations between SAP and other enterprise applications.
* Collaborate with IT and Finance stakeholders to align technology solutions with strategic objectives.
* Contribute to cross-functional projects to improve financial workflows.
Continuous Improvement:
* Identify and propose system enhancements to improve functionality.
* Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA best practices and new features.
* Assist in testing and validation during system upgrades or changes.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules.
* Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
* Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration and support.
* Skilled in system troubleshooting and user support.
* Experience with integration tools and understanding of data flows.
* Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
Desirable Experience:
* Knowledge of SAP BW and OpenText VIM.
* Familiarity with SAP Concur.
* Experience participating in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
* Exposure to SAP Cloud Analytics is a plus.
