MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Overseeing the process for planning, building, delivering and monitoring IT. Manage the Shared IT Service Provider on the below domains:
IT Programs and Projects
Requirements definition
Solutions identification and build
Changes
IT Assets
Configurations
IT Operations
Service requests and incidents
Supporting the implementation of IT related Information Security (IS) requirements from Group Information Security Framework including IS practices.
Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, overseeing and managing IT Operations, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals, and maintaining high standards of service delivery by the shared IT service provider.
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
IT Operations:
* Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring systems are reliable, secure and efficient.
* Manage IT service delivery, including incident management, problem resolution, and change management.
* Ensure compliance with Allianz's IT policies, standards, and functional rules.
Information Security (IS):
* Coordinate with external partners on IS including Penetration test, Internal vulnerabilities, and Cryptographic keys.
* Manage IS assessment of IT projects and changes.
* Support critical TLPT (Threat-Led Penetration Test) as requested by Central Bank of Ireland.
* Coordinate with external partners in locally fulfilling Group requirements regarding: IT and Cyber Security domains, including FitGap analysis, ITOM related initiatives, Information Security Management, System (ISMS) related initiatives
* Manage the IAM (Identity Access Management) requirements.
* Supporting DORA requirements for ongoing monitoring.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
* Collaborate with external vendors to manage performance.
* Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their IT needs and provide solutions.
* Facilitate communication between IT and other departments to ensure alignment and support.
Project Management:
* Oversee IT/IS projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
* Coordinate with project teams of the shared service provider to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
* Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks.
BUSINESS COMPETENCIES:
Education & qualifications:
* Degree in IT sciences or equivalent. Project Management certification would be a plus.
Professional Competence
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Services within IT or Project Management function.
Product and Technical knowledge
* Familiar with financial services products and related business processes. Experience on IT Risk Management
Information and Data Security
* Experience and background in IT and IS areas like network and firewall, penetration test and cyber prevention, cloudification projects
Business Process
* Familiarity with business processes in the financial services sector and financial products
PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:
* Ability to work with a positive and cooperative attitude with external consultants, outsourcers as well as colleagues
* Taking responsibility for assigned deadlines and projects
* Italian native speaker. Excellent written and spoken English
* Ability in managing internal and external actors as well as IT consultants and auditors.
