A leading European data centre delivery specialist is looking to appoint an experienced
Mechanical Project Manager
to support the delivery of large-scale, technically complex projects in Dublin.
This is a senior site-based role with full ownership of the mechanical scope, leading teams and subcontractors through construction, commissioning and handover.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of the mechanical works on major projects, ensuring safety, quality, programme and commercial targets are met.
Key responsibilities include:
Full management of the mechanical scope from construction through commissioning
Programme planning, milestone tracking and recovery where required
Leadership of engineers, package managers, supervisors and site teams
Coordination with design teams, subcontractors and client stakeholders
Day-to-day site planning, sequencing and productivity management
Subcontractor performance, progress tracking and manpower planning
Weekly reporting including programme updates, lookaheads, variations and risks
Change management across cost and programme
Driving a strong QHSE culture across site operations
Close collaboration with commercial teams on variations and cost control
Requirements
Background in mission critical, data centres, or other complex building environments
Strong experience managing HVAC, piping and associated mechanical systems
Proven ability to lead large site teams and subcontractor packages
Trade or engineering qualification preferred
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-spec project environments
