Logistics Inbound Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support the efficiency of day-to-day operational tasks within our supply chain. This key member will collaborate closely with other departments and partners to improve operational performance and deliver excellent internal customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational performance and deliver exceptional internal customer service.
* Assist in resolving internal or external logistics-related issues.
* Monitor, collect, and report data on current operations, including inbound, stock management, and outbound deliveries.
* Gather data on each step within the supply chain, using it to recommend changes to reduce costs.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with retail experience.
* Strong understanding of the latest logistics trends, methodologies, forecasting, and planning processes.
* Experience working with freight forwarding or third-party logistics providers to deliver operational and cost-efficient services.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Power BI, and Business Central or similar ERP systems.
