This role combines leadership, administrative oversight, and hands-on guest interaction to ensure a consistently exceptional spa experience.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily spa operations, ensuring all treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and facilities are maintained to The Grace's luxury standards.Lead and motivate the spa team, including therapists, reception, attendants, to deliver professional and personalised guest service.Assist in scheduling, training, and performance management of spa staff.Monitor and maintain stock levels of spa products, linens, and supplies.Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism and discretion.Support sales of spa treatments, memberships, and retail products.Oversee cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with health & safety standards.Assist with monthly reporting, revenue tracking, and KPI analysis.Conduct onboarding and training sessions for new starters, ensuring all team members understand The Grace standards, protocols, and service philosophyAct as ''Manager On Duty'' in the absence of the Spa & Leisure Manager.This job description is not intended to be either prescriptive or exhaustive, it is issued as a framework to outline main areas of responsibility at the time of writing.Required Experience & SkillsMinimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or senior therapist role within a luxury spa or wellness setting.Recognised qualification in beauty therapy, holistic therapies, or spa management.Proven experience in training or mentoring team members.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.High attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Eligibility to work in Ireland.Preferred Experience & SkillsExperience with spa booking or POS systems (e.g. Journey, TryBe, or similar).Retail sales and upselling experience.Knowledge of current wellness trends and spa industry best practices.The Grace Westport Estate is an equal opportunity employer.
