A large Irish law firm is seeking a Senior Associate with 4-6 years' PQE to join its well-known employment group. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, meaningful client exposure and the opportunity to work on complex advisory and contentious matters across a broad client base. The successful candidate will operate at a senior level within a progressive, transparent and democratic team environment, with direct involvement in client relationships and responsibility for delivering strategic, commercially focused advice.
Responsibilities
Advising employers on a wide range of employment law issues across the employment lifecycle, from recruitment through to termination
Managing and supporting employment litigation across relevant fora, including WRC, Labour Court and civil courts
Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements
Providing strategic input on workplace investigations, disciplinary processes and organisational change
Supporting clients on complex and sensitive employment issues, including dismissals, grievances and restructuring
Working as part of a broader team on multi-disciplinary matters
Contributing to client relationship development and knowledge sharing within the team

Candidate Profile
Qualified solicitor with 4-6 years' PQE in employment law gained in Ireland.
Experience in both advisory and contentious employment matters
Strong drafting and analytical skills, with the ability to provide clear and practical advice
Experience dealing directly with clients and managing matters with appropriate supervision
Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collegiate environment
