Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead our Sustaining Engineering team. This onsite role will involve overseeing multiple sustaining engineering projects from development through to maintenance, combining technical leadership and people management with close collaboration across Design Assurance, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing, and Project Management teams.
As a seasoned R&D professional you will have the opportunity to drive delivery of high-quality R&D outputs and functional excellence. You will also be responsible for providing guidance on technical strategy and product design while managing budgets resources timelines and project assignments effectively.
Required Qualifications:
* A Level 8 Honours Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field
* A minimum of 7 years relevant professional experience
* A minimum of 3 years people leadership experience
* Experience in the medical device sector or regulated industry desirable
